our team

Hi! I'm Andrea Kressin.As the founder and lead facilitator of The Together Collaborative, I bring a passion for intentional and authentic community building into my work. I’m a public health nerd who loves working at the intersection of policy, systems, and environmental change strategies. My strengths are authentic relationship building and facilitating community-driven change.I have spent more than two decades building safe and connected communities in the Community Violence Intervention and injury prevention fields, both as a hands-on practitioner and in leadership roles overseeing community initiatives. I’ve led the development of comprehensive community plans, high-functioning coalitions, evaluation strategies, and innovative communication tools.My work sits at the crossroads of population health, systems change and health equity and is grounded in a formal public health background, including an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
